How To Quit Porn For Good…
Change Your Life For The Better
--
If I have to be humbly honest, I’ve gotten into watching some pornography again. I was clean for a while, but that habit started coming back into my life. I thought to myself, and I’ve been working hard not watching it anymore and deserve to watch some at times. But that was wrong thinking, and it was arrogance. So I made an excuse to myself, and it got to the point where it has become a habit for me again.
I owe it to myself to admit to my own mistakes and wrongdoings. I understood what I was doing, I was always aware of it, but I didn’t accept the consequences of watching it consistently. I wasn’t humble in the situation and acted out of arrogance that what I was doing was okay. But the long-term effects are bad watching porn. It can change your entire reality.
Since I’ve been on my self-improvement journey, I’ve constantly reminded myself to remain humble. In the case of pornography, the same has to be. I’m starting over my streak now, but it will be very tough. I’ve failed already a few times. I still have to prove that I can do it, and I can.
The best way to quit porn for good is to create great daily habits.
Porn is a habit in all. To break it, you have to practice good and productive things for yourself. When we create better routines and keep ourselves busy, we will focus on what we are trying to accomplish in our lives. Daily meditation is excellent as well. It helps you focus more on internal, which is another huge focus on just living a better life and positive mindset. Focus on the internal aspects of yourself including.
The reality is there is something as well that’s going on inside of you to become addicted to porn or come back to it. Find the stem of the problem through building more self-awareness. Then, figure out how you can change for the better.
By creating better habits and focusing on the internal issue you have, you will transform your life. If you concentrate purely externally, you will not be empowered. It will be out of fear because you have to distract yourself from other things. Those things can help, but true healing comes from within. Forgive yourself and move on with your life. That’s why spirituality is so important to move on with your life in a better direction.
Porn addiction is hard; it’s been part of my life for a long time, but we all have the power to change. It’s only a step back to move forward better and greater.
