Why You Have No Enemies
And Why It Gives You Inner Peace
There is a trend if you go on Instagram reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc. There is an anime called Vinland Saga; it's a very powerful anime because it teaches the lesson of finding inner peace. I won't tell the whole story of the anime, but know it's about a boy who throws his life away on the quest for vengeance along that journey. He ends up learning some valuable lessons and healing.
So, to the point in the anime, when he says, "I have no enemies," it's a massive build-up to a character that endured many hardships.
Comparing that to our real-world issues, we have. I'm going to use the example of betrayal and heartbreak. Those are things that can massively change a person.
I met this person who was a good person. They had a lot of love and happiness within them as a person. But they got into a relationship with someone who just wasn't right for them. This person lied to them, cheated on them, betrayed their trust, and ruined their lives.
They were the only people in the world who they could fully open up to and be their authentic selves around that person. Everything in their spirit didn't want to let go, and they devalued themselves because they didn't want to be alone.
